Wester Happrew

Wester Happrew is associated with St Happrew, a 6th-century Irish monk and missionary who is said to have founded a chapel and holy well in the area. The site was traditionally visited for healing and as a place of pilgrimage, with local folklore linking the well to miraculous cures and spiritual renewal.
