This blue commemorative plaque records: Wesley Terrace. Built c1815 for Rev John Peers, it was originally intended that Wesley Terrace would be expanded to provide more houses. The building is Grade II Listed. Recorded plaque organisation: Boston Spa Parish Council.
Rev John Peers was a significant figure in the Methodist community who lived in Wesley Terrace, built around 1815; the terrace's planned expansion reflected the growing influence and membership of Methodism during the early 19th century.
