Wenlock Priory

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Wenlock Priory as Priory (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Wenlock Priory is linked to Saint Milburga, an 8th-century Anglo-Saxon saint associated with healing and protection. The priory and its surrounding area were centres of pilgrimage, with local traditions involving holy wells and the veneration of relics.
