What is recorded here

Killanena holds a wedge tomb, a place where stone and memory still touch. The formal record is empty, but the land has not forgotten the shape of what was buried there. People may have stood beside it, fed it, or fled from it depending on the season and the story they carried. That is why the missing file does not matter; the tomb is still making its claim on the living.

Wedge tomb, dating to the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age (c. 2500–1000 BCE). These tombs are characteristic of west and central Ireland and represent a significant phase in the development of megalithic funerary architecture.
