Deelin More holds a wedge tomb marked only on a small-scale map, unseen by later surveyors and lost to the living landscape. The Burren swallowed the stones or never revealed them at all, leaving behind a phantom chamber that defies modern certainty. What was buried there has vanished with the grave itself, preserving the old secret rather than exposing it.

Listed as a wedge tomb in the SMR (1992) in the Deelin Beg/Deelin More/Poulbaun (Burren By.) area on the basis of a symbol on a small-scale distribution map of Clare in the Book of the Burren (1991, 65). Wedge tomb; likely dates to the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age (c. 2500–1000 BCE). Its presence in the Burren region highlights the area's significance as a dense concentration of megalithic tombs in western Ireland.
