What is recorded here

Corbehagh holds a wedge tomb, one of many ancient burial places scattered across County Clare. The stones still stand in open land, marking a region where people have lived and remembered death for millennia. The survey identified it as a true wedge tomb, not a vague ruin, giving the site a clear shape and purpose.

Wedge tomb; dates to the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age (c. 2500–1000 BCE). This type of tomb is characteristic of western Ireland and reflects evolving funerary practices during the transition from the Neolithic to the Bronze Age.
