Gateway, extant 1871, on a symmetrical plan comprising pair of drag edged limestone ashlar piers on cut-limestone chamfered plinths having ogee-detailed cornices below capping supporting spear head-detailed cast-iron double gates with drag edged limestone ashlar outer piers on cut-limestone chamfered plinths having ogee-detailed cornices below capping supporting spear head-detailed cast-iron railings. Street fronted at entrance to grounds of Waterford Courthouse.
