What is recorded here

Two towers rise above Rockwell Green like forgotten sentinels, one Victorian brick and one Art Deco concrete, both built to save Wellington from polluted wells and fever. They hold no water now, only rain, rust and the memory of pumps that thundered through Westford nights. A developer once dreamed of living inside them, climbing ladders to bedrooms that faced the Blackdown Hills, but the dream stalled and the doors stayed shut. What remains is shape without purpose, waiting for someone brave enough to inhabit the empty heart of the system that forgot them.
