What is recorded here
According to the Civil Survey (1654-6) in the townland of Cregg these was 'a mill wanting repaire' which in 1640 was owned by 'Richard Butler of Kilkash Esq Irish Papist' (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 263). The exact location of this monument is unknown.
