What is recorded here

Examined by Windele in 1846 who reported ...'an oak-shoot about 14 feet inlength...accompanied by two pairs of querns or millstones' (Rynne 1988, 329). Site not located. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
