What is recorded here
Knockagh Monument rises one hundred and ten feet of black basalt above Greenisland, its angular shadow stretching across County Antrim while Belfast gleams far below. Built from local stone and delayed by hardship, it still points upward like a finger pressed against forgetfulness. The inscription praises valiant hearts and knightly virtue, yet no name is carved on its smooth surface. It remembers every lost Antrim person without singling any out, forcing each visitor to supply the absent faces with their own thinking.
War Memorial is recorded as a memorial in County Antrim. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
