Wallace Tower is a fortified townhouse built between 1610 and 1616 by Sir Robert Keith of Benholm, featuring two round corner towers and a carved sword-wielding figure. It became a famous local pub before developers removed it in 1965 and re-erected it in Seaton Park in 1971. The building survived urban expansion by moving rather than disappearing, carrying its heraldic stones and varied history into a new northern setting.
