Waitby Castle is an enclosed Romano-British settlement and part of a medieval dyke in Westmorland and Furness, England. The Romano-British people built the enclosure, while a later medieval dyke cut across or joined the same land. The castle name may have come later, but the earthworks preserve at least two ages of human activity.
