W. Graham Robertson and John Brown blue plaque

This blue commemorative plaque records: Blaydon Races "We flew across theChain Bridge reet into Blaydon toon, The bellman he was callin' there-they call him Jackey Broon." John Brown, the Blaydon bellman lived near here in Wesley Place. He died in 1901 aged 82 and is buried in Blaydon cemetery. Recorded plaque organisation: Gateshead Metropolitan Borough Council.
