WWI era concrete schooner
The *Violette* was a WWI-era concrete schooner used for coastal transport and cargo. It was lost in 1918 during a storm off the eastern seaboard, with no lives lost but significant cargo abandoned; its remains are notable as an example of early 20th-century concrete shipbuilding.
