This commemorative plaque records: Victoria Place. Rennie-Hill, builders of the Town Dock erected this Regency style terrace on land given by William Townsend to provide access to Stow Hill from the south-east.
Victoria Place is a Regency-style terrace built by Rennie-Hill in the early 19th century, situated on land donated by William Townsend to enhance connectivity between Stow Hill and the southern areas of the town.
