What is recorded here
Upton farm and derelict church (only tower remains) is a castle, fort or tower in Somerset, England. Perhaps the tower survived because it refused to leave, watching fields while the rest departed. Maybe farmers still pass beneath its shadow, unaware they walk inside an abandoned room. Imagine the derelict church breathing through one open throat, holding every voice it ever swallowed.
