What is recorded here
Entrance gates and boundary railing, built c.1920, comprising roughly dressed limestone boundary wall with render coping, wrought-iron railings and gates and red brick piers with pointed render to paired pedestrian entrances.
A fine boundary surrounding the UCC sports grounds which is a reminder of the quality of railings and walls in the past. The limestone contrasts with the red brick, adding colour and textural interest, while the excellently turned wrought-railings and gates demonstrate high quality craftsmanship.
This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
