Wreck

What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Ukho 9853 (amiral Zede) as Wreck. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The *Amiral Zede* was a Turkish ironclad warship that ran aground in 1878 near the coast of Wales during a storm while en route to the Ottoman Empire. The vessel was later broken up on the rocks, with no reported loss of life; its wreck is considered historically significant as a rare example of 19th-century naval technology.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
