Bowl barrows, dating to the Early Bronze Age (c. 2000–1500 BCE), are burial monuments typically consisting of a circular mound of earth and stone. These barrows are significant as they represent some of the earliest field evidence of organized burial practices and social structure in Neolithic and Bronze Age Britain.
