This blue commemorative plaque records: Number 12 Felstead Road. Built singlehandedly John James Figgures b. 21st November 1931 d. 7th July 2008. He built this house for his family. His wife Barbara and sons Martin and Christopher. The ground was first broken on site late 1963 and we moved into this house in January 1977
