Tweed's Cross

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Tweed's Cross as Cross (period Unassigned). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Tweed's Cross is traditionally associated with Saint Fillan, a 7th-century Irish monk and healer linked to several holy sites in Perth and Kinross. The cross may have been a site of Christian pilgrimage and ritual, reflecting early Scottish devotion to saints for protection and cure.
