In partly cleared woodland, on elevated site overlooking Kealnagower stream to the N. Ruins of two-storey castellated tower constructed of random rubble. Ground floor is circular in plan with rectangular window opes and door ope; first floor is heptagonal with small rectangular lights. Also known as "Hutchins' Folly" the tower is said locally to have been built in the early 19th-century by an American named Hutchins.
