Why this matters

Turls Hill rises to approximately 100 metres above sea level and is part of the undulating landscape of the Dudley area. Its prominence is modest, but it contributes to the local topography shaped by Carboniferous limestone and millstone grit. The hill has historical significance due to its proximity to industrial and residential developments in the West Midlands.
