This white commemorative plaque records: This house is one of the oldest in Great Britain and is listed amongst the historic Buildings of Anglesey it was built about .. 1400.
The Tudor Rose symbolizes the union of the House of Lancaster and the House of York, significant in British history for ending the Wars of the Roses; this house, dating from around 1400, predates and thus does not directly commemorate that symbolism but is a rare example of early medieval domestic architecture on Anglesey.
