Triasamol, Croulastadh, Uig, Lewis is a ringfort or rath, a type of early-medieval hilltop enclosure, likely dating to between the 6th and 10th centuries AD. Local folklore, common to many such sites in the Western Isles, associates it with the fairies or "fairy folk," and it may have been considered a place of supernatural significance or avoided by locals due to such beliefs.
