This blue commemorative plaque records: Tredegar Estates Office (1905) Formerly extending into Glamorganshire and Breconshire, the Tredegar Estate was, until its dispersal in 1956, the county's biggest landowner, here its records were kept and its rents paid. Listed Grade II Recorded plaque organisation: Newport Civic Society.
Tredegar Estates Office served as the administrative hub for the extensive Tredegar Estate, managing records and rent collections for what was once Wales's largest landholding until its dispersal in 1956.
