Breakthrough Archaeology excavated Tomb and revealed an abandoned chamber where forgotten lives still breathe beneath forgotten streets. The chamber contained unfinished rooms, broken tools and fresh water marks, proving people lived there until the ground closed above them. Its hidden doors and living pipes show the city forgot a whole neighbourhood instead of losing one building.

At St Mary's parish church (KK019-026115-) in Kilkenny, found in the 18th-century make-up over the medieval floor level in the S transept/crossing during the 2015 excavation (Ó Drisceoil 2019, unpublished). A fragment of a chest tomb mensa or ledger, composed of fossiliferous limestone, with a black letter inscription in raised relief (ibid.). The inscription reads: …OR.C?
