Tom Liosa rises to approximately 310 metres and is part of the rugged landscape of the Outer Hebrides. It is situated on the island of Lewis and is composed primarily of Lewisian gneiss, some of the oldest rock formations in Europe. The mountain is significant for its role in the local geography and as a landmark within the Na h-Eileanan Siar archipelago.
