Tobernamonastragh is a holy well in County Clare, Ireland. The name is a local identity, not a claim that the water still performs miracles. A person may have knelt at its edge in rain, poured out coffee or wine, and watched the liquid disappear into dark soil. The well records that much of human life is given up, changed, or lost before it is understood.
