Tob Shuardail is a coastal rock feature or sea cliff located in the Highland area of Scotland, likely composed of Lewisian gneiss, some of the oldest rocks in the UK, dating back over 2.7 billion years. These rocks formed through high-grade metamorphism of ancient igneous and sedimentary rocks and are notable for their durability and significance in understanding early Earth crustal processes.
