Tinnis Burn

Tower House (medieval)(possible)

What is recorded here

Tinnis Burn may have been a medieval tower house in the Scottish Borders, though no certain fact remains to confirm the claim. The burn still flows beside the hidden ground, carrying marble chips and forgotten life toward the sea. What is missing is not a gap, but an invitation to imagine the people who lived there and the events they endured before disappearing from memory.
Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Tinnis Burn as Tower House (medieval)(possible). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
