13-15 Atherton Street red plaque

This red commemorative plaque records: 13-15 Atherton Street/Built 1770 - 1790, these houses had front doors on a central shared passageway, rather than on the street. They were probably the homes and workshops of watch and toolmakers. Repaired and restored in 2018 by the Prescot Townscape Initiative. Recorded plaque organisation: Prescot Town Council.
