The Pegu was a 17th-century East India Company trading vessel, lost in 1624 near the coast of Kent after running aground during a storm. It sank with minimal loss of life but carried significant cargo of spices and textiles; its wreck is notable for providing archaeological insight into early 17th-century Anglo-Asian trade.
