What is recorded here
The Spoig is a small islet located in the Firth of Clyde, likely part of the Gigha or Knapdale area, and is notable for its historical association with the surrounding maritime landscape of Argyll. Though uninhabited today, such islets were often used for seasonal grazing or as landmarks by local fishing and seafaring communities.
