What is recorded here

This black commemorative plaque records: The Heath Hotel. In October 1977 history was made when The Specials played their very first gig here as The Automatics Recorded plaque organisation: 2-Tone Trail.
The Specials, originally known as The Automatics, were a pioneering ska revival band that emerged in the late 1970s, blending Jamaican ska rhythms with punk energy to address social and political issues of the time. Their debut at The Heath Hotel marked the beginning of their influential career in British popular music.
