This bronze commemorative plaque records: Caversham Park was the home of The Oratory School from 1922 to 1941 The building opposite was the School Chapel, built as a tribute to all Old Oratorians who served in the First World War and as a memorial to the 87 among them who gave their lives Behind this plaque are the graves of three Oratorians who died while still boys in the school
