The Harshaw Home in County Down, Ireland, stands as a memorial to James Harshaw, who wrote his famous diaries in its wee parlour between 1797 and 1867. Built around 1750, the house sheltered the Harshaw family for nearly two centuries, while Hugh Bronte also lived there around 1776. It remains a quiet witness to generations of writing, memory and everyday life in one Irish household.
