The Godwin tombs at St Pancras Old Church were built by the Godwin family, a prominent Anglo-Saxon noble family, with the original church dedicated to St Pancras and parts of the current structure dating to the 12th century. The tombs are significant as they include the remains of Wulfnoth Cild, a member of the Godwin family, and reflect the transition from Anglo-Saxon to Norman influence in England.
