Castlehead Bridge spans the Glasgow, Paisley and Johnstone Canal in Renfrewshire, carrying traffic above water that once moved goods between cities. The canal basin still reflects the bridge legs, doubling their shape in rippled green light. People may wonder whether horses, carts or children crossed here before roads took the traffic, but the water keeps that history private.
