The Commercial Hotel, Accrington bronze plaque

This bronze commemorative plaque records: The Commercial Hotel This pub was designed reflect The Commercial Hotel in its heyday, during the early 1900s' Art Nouveau period. The design also reflects Accrington-born designer Joseph Briggs, instrumental in the popularity of the Tiffany Stained Glass Company. We have used these references throughout the pub from the Tiffany inspired light fittings to the welcoming Art Nouveau bar.
