The Cellars, Castle Pill — Report the wrong picture

Castle Pill still keeps a quay and warehouse beneath its modern streets. Whether the cellars stored fish, tar or stolen sugar remains unknown, but the name suggests depth and darkness rather than display. The sea may have filled them once, or men may have locked them against thieves. Either way, the town stands above a hollow chest that never stopped breathing.
