Butty means butter, and Penhow Castle still keeps that name in stone. A farm kitchen or dairy once stood where the estate showed off its wealth, turning cream into gold for lords who never lifted a paddle. The building has vanished, but the name refuses to leave. It still butters the air, coating every memory of Penhow in cream.
