ERECTED BY THE CARRBRIDGE GAELIC CEILIDH IN MEMORY OF IAN BEAC MacANDRA WHO LIVED HERE EARLY IN THE 17th CENTURY. HE WAS A NOTED ARCHER AND BY HIS SKILL WITH THE BOW AND ARROW PREVENTED MANY CATTLE RAIDERS ENTERING STRATHSPEY.
