Teviothead

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Teviothead as Grange (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: General location. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Teviothead is associated with St Teviot, a 7th-century saint linked to early Christian activity in southern Scotland. The name may derive from "Teviot's head," referring to the confluence of the River Teviot with the River Tweed, a site of historical and spiritual significance.
