Telesilla

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Telesilla as Steamship (period Unassigned)-(1896). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

The *Telesilla* was a steamship built in 1896, later involved in World War I as a collier and auxiliary ship. It was sunk on 21 September 1917 by the German U-boat U-52 in the North Sea, resulting in the loss of all 34 crew members.
