Freestanding moulded concrete telephone box, erected c.1950, with moulded cap, glazed panel to street side and glazed timber door to front. P&T insignia to base of street side and rear. Painted green, with black plinth and frieze. Located on footpath at demesne wall.

This telephone box is an interesting feature in the streetscape of Glaslough. Its moulded concrete form and detailing evoke the early history of the material and the box now has rarity value, being one of a small number surviving in County Monaghan.
