Tayvallich Church

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Tayvallich Church as Cross Incised Stone (early Medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Tayvallich Church is associated with St. Fillan, a 7th-century Irish monk and healer, and the site is traditionally linked to cures for skin diseases and general healing. The incised cross on the stone reflects early Christian symbolism and may have been used in local rituals or as a marker for pilgrimages to the holy site.
