Why this matters

Tarsabhal is a small mountain in the Outer Hebrides, rising to approximately 250 metres. It is part of the eroded landscape of Lewis and Harris, composed largely of Old Red Sandstone. As a named peak in a sparsely populated and rugged region, it contributes to the geographical and cultural identity of the local area.
