Tamura

Wreck

What is recorded here

The National Monuments Record of Wales records Tamura as Wreck from the 20fed Ganrif period. The saved point comes from the official national record. Inclusion does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
The Tamura was a Japanese steamship lost in 1907 after running aground on the Lleyn Peninsula in Wales. The vessel, carrying a cargo of coal, was wrecked in heavy weather; no lives were lost, and the wreck is noted in the National Monuments Record of Wales as a historical maritime casualty.

The historic-place record does not grant public access. Check current conditions and ownership before entering land or a building.
